Sales and Marketing Paid Internship
Electro Standards Laboratories is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated marketing intern with exceptional phone communication skills to support our sales team with following up on open sales quotations and other sales/marketing assigned tasks.
US Citizenship is required due to our work with the US Department of Defense.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the manager or assigned staff member, to complete all allocated tasks in a timely manner.
- Tasks will include following up on open sales quotations with clients over the phone and occasionally via email on behalf of the sales team.
- Updating computer databases, documentation, and sales records with new information.
- Carrying out sales processes and other marketing tasks that have been assigned or observed.
Requirements:
- US Citizenship is required due to our work with the US Department of Defense.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be confident and comfortable with speaking on the phone.
- Basic computer experience (Microsoft Office preferred).
- Must have completed some college business courses at the time of application.
- Junior and Senior year college students preferred.
- Must be able to take instruction, but also work unsupervised when required.
The ideal candidate should be willing to learn as much about the company as possible and be able to spot opportunities that have been overlooked by others.
